Welcome to the next module (Module 4) of the lecture series on Psychometrics.
In this module I discuss how to conduct exploratory factor analysis (EFA) in SPSS. I discuss about various options available in SPSS to conduct EFA, their advantages and disadvantages. Finally, I explain how to interpret EFA solutions and how to report them in research papers.
Next, I discuss about the two type of validities: construct validity and criterion validity. These, along with content validity (discussed earlier in Module 2), complete our discussion on all kinds of validity that are discussed and tested when creating measures for constructs in social sciences.
