Ongoing Workshop
Basic concepts in statistics are essential for practitioners and researchers alike. Not all researchers have a statistics background, and they would like to reinforce their basics. Further, after a stint in industry, it is not unlikely that few researchers and practitioners would like to revise the basic concepts. In this workshop, we start right at the very basics and do not assume prior statistics knowledge. For people with varying needs, we have divided the workshop into various modules. We will use MS Excel and SPSS in the workshop. In the workshop, we will have Hands-on practice on problems, and examples from the book by Anderson and Sweeney, will be discussed.

Past Workshop
The aim of this workshop is to offer necessary understanding as well as confidence to start doing experimental research. This workshop will be useful to faculty, doctoral students and aspiring Ph.D. candidates who are interested in experimental research. The purpose of this workshop is to provide technical skills for the design and implementation of experimental methods, the techniques and discussion are relevant for any experimental research in social science/behavioral studies. The assignment is oriented towards getting the candidates to conceptualize and design a simple experiment and then analyze the results from the study.

Past Workshop
The purpose of this workshop is to understand the process of literature review that forms the foundation of research. The workshop takes a hands-on approach systematic literature, covering the types of literature review, the journey of systematic literature, the guidelines for analyzing literature, review protocol, and guidelines for writing a draft.

PLS-SEM also referred to as partial least squares path modeling is a non-parametric approach to structural equation modelling which has witnessed an increasing usage in social science research. It has gained popularity due to its unique peculiarity in developing theory or propose some insightful extension to a theory. It is a statistical data analysis methodology that exists at the intersection of Regression Models, Structural Equation Models, and Multiple Table Analysis methods. PLS SEM is designed to take care of both reflective and formative constructs unlike CB-SEM which is curated to work with reflective constructs only. It works equally well with non-normally distributed data and is tailored to handle small sample sizes as opposed to covariance based structural equation modelling which typically uses large sample size to estimate model parameters (Hair et al., 2018).

The purpose of this workshop is to guide editors through the process of editing documents in a systematic manner. Editing is serious work and there are a number of aspects that need to be addressed while editing a document. During the workshop, we will look at some key areas that editors must look at, how to use style guides, and how to work with authors and retain their voice. The biggest takeaway will be the checklist for editors which will help them do their edits in a systematic manner. Finally, in-class assignments will help incorporate the learnings from the workshop.

Past Workshop
The purpose of this workshop is to introduce to the participants the central concepts of psychometrics theory and scale development for social sciences. The workshop takes a hands-on approach, covering the critical aspects of psychometric theory including scale construction, item generation, reliability testing, validity testing, and factor analysis using statistical software like SPSS and AMOS.

Past Workshop
The focus of this workshop is to introduce the basic concepts of statistics to doctoral students and early career academics who require to use statistical techniques in their research. The workshop will start with basic concepts of probability and distributions, and will introduce to the concepts of various statistical testing and modeling tools. The theoretical components will be complemented by hands on data analysis using R.

Past Workshop
The workshop will provide hands-on learning sessions about how to get started in R as well as giving an introduction to data manipulation and writing scripts. From a statistical perspective, the workshop will provide basic understanding of statistical concepts and their applications in solving management problems. The workshop would cover basics of descriptive statistics, inferential statistics, correlations, ANOVA, regressions and non-parametric tests.
